एसआईआर पर अभिषेक बनर्जी का बयान उनकी हताशा का नतीजा: सुकांत मजूमदार

Kolkata, January 2 (IANS). Union Minister of State Sukant Majumdar termed Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee’s statement after meeting the Election Commission as a result of his frustration.

Speaking to news agency IANS on Friday, Sukant Majumdar said that under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list, Bangladeshi citizens living illegally in India are being identified and deported from the country.

That is why these people (TMC leaders) are angry, because they know that if all the Bangladeshi citizens living illegally in India are shown the way out of the country, then there will be no one left here to vote in their favor. That is why these people are expressing their anger, because now the political situation is going to be unfavorable for these people.

He said that the first bullet train will arrive in the country in 2027. We all should welcome it. This is a wonderful achievement for India, which we all should welcome. With this, the pace of development of the country will double. I am confident that in the coming days the Bullet Train will be expanded to other states also. People from different sections of the society will benefit from it. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav is a very capable minister. I am confident that he will be able to successfully implement this ambitious project in the coming days. There is no doubt in this.

The Union Minister of State clarified that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all-round development related work is being done across the country. No compromise of any kind is being accepted with development works. During the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have given development more priority than politics. The result of this is that today people from different sections of the society are getting the benefits of development related works.

He said that in the coming days we will expand the bullet train in West Bengal also. The complete outline has been determined in this direction. Successfully implementing this project will not only benefit the people of West Bengal but also the people of other states.
