After MPs, now Uddhav Thackeray called a meeting of MLAs on June 22.

सांसदों के बाद अब उद्धव ठाकरे ने 22 जून को विधायकों की बैठक बुलाई

Mumbai, June 16 (IANS). Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray now called a meeting of MLAs after the MPs. Thackeray has called a meeting of all the MLAs at the party office on June 22 at 4 pm.

The letter written by Chief Whip Sunil Prabhu and MLC Anil Parab said, “A meeting of all members of the Shiv Sena (UBT) Legislative Party (both Assembly and Legislative Council) has been called on June 22 at 4:00 pm at ‘Shivalaya’ located opposite the Ministry in Mumbai. Party chief Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray will guide this meeting. You are requested to attend the said meeting on time.”

On Sunday, Uddhav Thackeray had called a meeting of MPs. Of the nine Lok Sabha members, Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai, Rajbhau Waje and Sanjay Patil attended the meeting in person. Sanjay Raut had told that Omprakash Raje Nimbalkar, Bhausaheb Wakchore, Nagesh Bapurao Patil Ashtikar and Sanjay Deshmukh participated in the online meeting, while Sanjay Jadhav spoke to Thackeray over the phone. Let us tell you that Shiv Sena UBT currently has 9 MPs and 19 MLAs.

On June 12, it was claimed by Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) that the country’s politics is now limited only to deals for its own benefit. In an editorial published in Shiv Sena’s (UBT) mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ titled ‘Politics has now become a business of personal interest amid the increasing trend of party-switching leaders’, it was said that voters vote on the basis of the election symbol and ideology of a particular party and hope that they will get the right representation, but political opportunist leaders looking for their own benefit immediately jump from one party to another for their personal gain. These opportunistic leaders and their leaders reach Delhi in one fell swoop.

The editorial argued that just as many varieties of grapes and mangoes have been developed, new breeds of these unstable leaders have also emerged. The ‘Sayani Ghosh’ variety is at the forefront among these. During the election campaign, Ghosh made his mark with his sharp and passionate speeches. He created the image of ‘mini-Mamata’, targeted BJP in every rally and considered Mamata Banerjee like his mother. When rifts started appearing among TMC MPs, very few people expected that Sayani’s name would also be in that list.”
