All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) national spokesperson Waris Pathan gave a big statement regarding the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027 and said that his party will contest the elections with full strength and strength. At the same time, he expressed deep sorrow over the tragic road accident in Pandharpur, Maharashtra and demanded an impartial investigation.

He told that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is on a tour of Uttar Pradesh and has reached Matera from Lucknow via Bahraich, where his public meeting has been organised. Pathan claimed that there is good support from the public in the party meetings and AIMIM will register a strong presence in the upcoming elections.
During this, Waris Pathan also reacted to the horrific road accident that took place near Pandharpur in Solapur district of Maharashtra. He said that this is a very sad and unfortunate incident, in which eight people lost their lives and many others were injured. Expressing condolences to the families of the deceased, he said that the government should conduct a thorough investigation into the causes of the accident and make the investigation report public.
Let us tell you that on Sunday, a pickup van had fallen into a roadside well near Tandulwadi village in Malshiras taluka of Solapur district. Eight people died in the accident, including four women and four children. It was told that all the devotees were returning to their village after visiting the Siddhanath temple located at Mhaswad. According to preliminary information, due to brake failure of the vehicle, the driver lost control and the van fell directly into the well.
Police and administration teams reached the spot and carried out relief and rescue operations. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire area after the incident. Leaders of various political parties have also expressed grief over the accident and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
CM Devendra Fadnavis posted on the social media platform The Superintendent of Police has immediately reached the spot, and we are in constant touch with the local administration. The state government will provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of those killed in this incident.”
