During the House proceedings, SP MP Dharmendra Yadav tried to speak in between, forcing PM Modi to pause for a few seconds. Smiling lightly he said, “I am grateful to you; you have helped in introducing me to the House.” He then mentioned his social background, and said that he came from an ‘extremely backward class’. In the middle of his speech, he lightened the atmosphere by mentioning Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav. Smiling, he said that Akhilesh is his “friend” and sometimes helps him. Hearing this, a wave of laughter ran in the entire House, and Akhilesh Yadav also smiled.
