Akhilesh Yadav respects Kanshi Ram, making false allegations is wrong: ST Hasan

अखिलेश यादव कांशीराम का करते हैं सम्मान, झूठे इल्जाम लगाना गलत : एसटी हसन

Moradabad, October 9 (IANS). Former SP MP Dr. ST Hasan has given a befitting reply to the sharp attacks made by Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on the Samajwadi Party (SP).

Mayawati had accused SP of ignoring Kanshi Ram’s contribution and insulting his legacy. In response to this, Dr. Hasan said that this statement of Mayawati is completely based on misunderstanding and baseless accusation. In the SP government, everything was audited and every penny was accounted for. I advise Mayawati not to make such allegations without proof.

Dr. Hasan said, “Akhilesh Yadav respects Kanshi Ram a lot. The parks were also maintained better during the SP government. It is not appropriate to make false allegations in politics. There is no substance in Mayawati’s allegations. SP has always worked for social justice and inclusive development.”

Taking a dig at Mayawati praising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, Dr. Hasan said, “Everyone knows that BSP is the B-team of BJP. Mayawati is praising BJP at this time because BJP has put her party in such a situation where she has no option but to praise.”

He also reminded Mayawati of her old statements, when she was known for statements like tilak, scales and sword.

Referring to PDA, Dr. Hasan said that SP has always taken care of backward, Dalit and Muslim communities. Many welfare schemes were run for Dalits and Muslims in the SP government, whereas the Muslim community was ignored in the BSP and BJP governments.

He said, “Akhilesh Yadav did a lot for the Dalits. It is not like today that Dalits cannot even take their wedding processions on horseback in the villages. The condition of Dalits in the villages is not hidden from anyone.”

Regarding Mayawati’s attacking stance on SP, Dr. Hasan termed it a well-planned strategy.

He said, “Mayawati has been my leader and a great leader of the country, but due to some compulsions she has to do all this. Not everything can be said in the press. Mayawati’s allegations seem politically motivated. I appeal to Mayawati to avoid making allegations without evidence and contribute to uniting the society.”
