Anakapalle, June 23 (IANS). The massive fire that broke out on Tuesday morning at the Dakshina Energy Chemical Factory located in Paravada Pharma City in Anakapalle district of Andhra Pradesh shocked the entire state. In this tragic accident, two workers died, while two others were seriously injured. After the incident, the state government immediately started monitoring the relief and rescue operations.

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed deep grief over the accident. As soon as he got information about the accident, he spoke to Anakapalle District Collector on phone and got information about the entire situation. Officials told them that two people lost their lives and two others were seriously injured in the accident that occurred around 6 am on Tuesday.

Pawan Kalyan took information from the officials about the status of fire control and asked them to review the steps being taken to prevent accidents in industrial units. He gave clear instructions that immediate safety audit should be conducted in all the industrial areas located around Visakhapatnam. Besides, instructions were also given to provide the best medical facilities to the injured workers. Expressing deep condolences to the families of the deceased, he said that the state government stands with the affected families.

State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita also expressed serious concern over this accident. He spoke to the District Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP) of Anakapalle over phone and took information about the incident and relief operations.

The Home Minister directed the officials to speed up the relief and rescue operations and provide the best medical facilities to the injured. He said that the government will take all necessary steps to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future. He also assured that all possible assistance and cooperation will be provided by the state government to all the families affected by this tragic accident.
