'Attempt to offer namaz in Ram temple is worrying', BJP leaders gave sharp reaction

New Delhi, January 11 (IANA). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have said that the attempt to offer Namaz in the Ram temple located in Ayodhya is a very worrying incident. BJP leaders have demanded that strictest action should be taken against the accused.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Manan Kumar Mishra said while talking to news agency IANS, “Such people should be dealt with strictly. No Hindu can even think of going to a mosque to offer his prayers, we do not even think of hurting the place of worship of another religion. But look at the status of a section of people, they entered our Ram temple and started offering namaz there. Their only aim is to create a ruckus, to keep themselves in the media. Yes, their aim is to spread unrest in the country.”

Manan Kumar Mishra said that strictest action should be taken against these people. He also said that if it was a case of another religious place, such people would have been killed on the streets.

The BJP MP said that we (Hindus) are very tolerant, we tolerate a lot. This does not mean that anyone should do anything.

BJP’s national spokesperson RP Singh gave a statement that it is necessary to investigate this matter of Ayodhya. It should be found out whether this was his personal decision or it was an attempt to create unrest in the society as part of a well-planned conspiracy. After investigation, action should be taken against the accused on the basis of facts.

BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Dev also reacted on the Ayodhya issue. He said that the greatness of Sanatan culture is clearly visible here. In Ayodhya, which is a holy center of faith for followers of Sanatan Dharma, this man raised slogans related to his religion and also tried to offer namaz. Yet the greatness of Sanatan Sanskriti was that people caught it and handed it over to the security forces. This shows the difference between the tolerance of our religion and their religion.”

He further said, “Can you imagine if someone from Sanatan Dharma goes to Jama Masjid in Delhi and starts reciting Hanuman Chalisa? The crowd will attack him by throwing stones.”
