Axis My India Exit Poll: BJP is certain in Assam, big upset in Tamil Nadu, condition of Kerala-Puducherry also revealed

New Delhi, April 29 (IANS). Voting ended with the second and last phase for the West Bengal Assembly elections. Now, the results are awaited on May 4. Meanwhile, on Wednesday evening, exit polls of many agencies regarding the assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry have come out. In all these exit polls, different political pictures of the election states have been presented.

The trends in the exit polls are not uniform in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry. While the exit polls have predicted a hat-trick of NDA victories in Assam, there are expectations of a change of power in Kerala. Meanwhile, Axis My India has also come out with exit polls of election states.

First of all, talking about Assam, in the exit poll of Axis My India, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), included in NDA, is estimated to get maximum 70-80 seats, while other parties included in NDA, AGP may get 7-9 and BPF may get 9-11 seats. According to Axis My India, out of 126 assembly seats in the state, NDA is expected to get 88-100 seats.

Apart from this, in the exit poll of Axis My India, Congress alliance may get 24-36 seats and others may get 0-3 seats.

At the same time, if we look at the vote share of Assam, in the exit poll NDA is expected to get 48 percent vote share, Congress alliance 38 percent, AIUDF 2 percent, UPPL 3 percent and others 9 percent vote share.

Who is the Chief Minister’s first choice in the exit poll? People’s opinion has been taken regarding this also. In the exit poll, 48 percent people have given their choice to Himanta Biswa Sarma, 32 percent to Gaurav Gogoi and 3 percent to Sarbananda Sonowal.

Axis My India’s exit poll has indicated a major change in the politics of Tamil Nadu. According to exit polls, actor Vijay’s party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) can pull off the biggest upset, giving a tough fight to the ruling DMK. Actor Vijay’s party is expected to get 98 to 120 seats in the state.

According to exit polls, the DMK alliance is expected to get 92 to 110 seats in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. This alliance includes DMK, Congress, DMDK, VCK, CPI(M), CPI and IUML.

The AIADMK alliance is expected to get 22 to 32 seats. This alliance includes AIADMK, BJP, PMK and AMMK. Apart from this, NTK and other parties do not seem to be losing seats.

According to the Axis My India exit poll, the DMK alliance is expected to get around 35 percent vote share, while TVK is also expected to get 35 percent, AIADMK alliance around 23 percent, NTK 3 percent, and other parties 4 percent.

In Kerala, UDF is expected to get 78-90 seats, LDF 49-62, and ND 0-3 seats. Talking about vote percentage, in the exit poll, UDF is estimated to have 44 percent vote share, LDF 39 percent, NDA 14 percent, and others 3 percent vote share.

According to the exit polls of Puducherry Assembly Elections 2026, the NRC+ (NDA) alliance is expected to get 16 to 20 seats. In this alliance, AINRC may get 10 to 12 seats, BJP may get 4 to 6 seats, AIADMK may get 1 to 2 seats and LJK may get 1 to 2 seats.

At the same time, the Congress (DMK) alliance is expected to get 6 to 8 seats, in which DMK may get 5 to 7 seats and Congress may get 1 to 2 seats. Apart from this, TVK alliance is expected to get 2 to 4 seats, in which TVK may get 1 to 2 seats and NMK may get 1 to 2 seats. Other parties and independents are expected to get 1 to 3 seats.

According to the exit polls of Puducherry Assembly Elections 2026, the NRC (NDA) alliance is expected to get 40 percent votes. In this alliance, AINRC may get 23 percent votes, BJP 12 percent, AIADMK 2 percent and LJK 3 percent.

At the same time, the Congress (DMK) alliance is expected to get 30 percent votes, in which DMK is expected to get 17 percent votes and Congress is expected to get 13 percent votes.

Apart from this, TVK alliance is expected to get 17 percent votes. In this alliance, TVK can get 16.8 percent votes and NMK can get 0.2 percent votes. Other parties and independents are expected to get 13 percent votes.

However, the results of exit polls are not final. Election results will be revealed on May 4. Only after this will we know who gets the crown in Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
