Chandigarh, April 2 (IANS). Punjab BJP Vice President Fateh Jung Bajwa, reacting to the blast outside the BJP office in Chandigarh, cornered Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Along with this, appealed to take a decision on imposing President’s rule in Punjab.
Fateh Jung Bajwa told IANS, “There was a grenade attack outside the BJP headquarters in Punjab, which was a kind of warning. Anti-national forces always try to break Punjab. Punjab is a border state, hence terrorist activities are more here. Babbar Khalsa taking responsibility for this attack is a matter of great concern.”
Questioning Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Fateh Jung Bahadur said, “Bhagwant Mann’s statement was completely childish. As a Chief Minister, posting such a thing was a crude joke. Bhagwant Mann should have expressed grief over this incident and talked about fair action. Bhagwant Mann is a comedian and will sink Punjab in 5 years.”
He said, “Aam Aadmi Party ministers in Punjab have relations with gangsters. People are presenting the conversations of their ministers with gangsters on social media. What kind of government is this? I say that Union Home Minister Amit Shah should take a decision on imposing President’s rule in Punjab, because it is not in his control. Bhagwant Mann is not able to control Punjab. This is a matter of great concern. Chandigarh Police is also investigating the attack. Everything will be revealed soon. The attackers have posted a video in which they take out the pin of the grenade and throw it.”
On the Middle East crisis, Bajwa said, “It is very unfortunate that this war is going on. It has nothing to do with it. Trump has put the whole world in trouble. It has affected all the countries, whether it is on oil or anything else. I want to thank PM Modi, because he has reduced the custom duty on all petrochemical products. This will provide a lot of relief. When Covid also came, India helped other countries by making vaccines. “
