Biggest shock to Mamata Banerjee! Now Sayani Ghosh also left TMC which was falling apart like a pack of cards.

After the change of power in Bengal, TMC seems to be collapsing like a house of cards. According to sources, there are reports that Sayoni Ghosh, a close aide of Mamata Banerjee and an aggressive face of TMC, has also turned rebel. Sources say that the angry group includes a total of 20 Lok Sabha MPs, including Sayoni Ghosh and Sudip Bandopadhyay. Additionally, two Rajya Sabha MPs (Sukhendu Shekhar Roy and Sushmita Dev) have resigned. Sayoni Ghosh represents Jadavpur Lok Sabha constituency for TMC in Bengal.

After losing power in Bengal after 15 years of rule, Mamata Banerjee is going through her toughest – or perhaps worst – phase right now. The challenge before him is to save both the party and the organization. Due to the rebellion, even those who were once loyal to him are now abandoning him. The angry voices have completely isolated Mamata, and the situation has become an existential crisis for the party.

How did the rebellion begin?
The rebellion in Trinamool Congress started after the expulsion of Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha. Mamata had expelled both the leaders for anti-party activities. Subsequently, Ritabrata Banerjee became angry, took 58 MLAs with her and became the leader of the opposition; However, all these MLAs remained in TMC. After this came the turn of the MPs.

MPs meeting at Bhupendra Yadav’s house

Recently, several Trinamool MPs led by senior MP Kakoli Ghosh held a meeting at Bhupendra Yadav’s house. Suvendu Adhikari was also present during the meeting. After this he handed over a letter signed by 20 MPs to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Kakoli claimed to form a separate faction. It is noteworthy that Trinamool has a total of 28 MPs in the Lok Sabha.

Resignation of two Rajya Sabha MPs
On Monday, June 8, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy resigned. The resignation was given when TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee was attending the meeting of the Indian alliance in Delhi. He had also sent a copy of his resignation to Mamata; The move was a major blow to him during his stay in the capital. Two days later, on Wednesday, June 10, Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev also left TMC. Sushmita joined Trinamool Congress in 2021, before that she was in the Congress party. After resigning, he met Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The resignations of these two MPs show that Mamata’s TMC is continuously weakening.
