Mumbai, November 13 (IANS). Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar on Thursday expressed his frank opinion on many issues. He commented on the ongoing exit poll regarding Bihar Assembly elections, Pune land dispute and the incident of explosion near Red Fort.
Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar has given a sharp reaction to the exit poll regarding Bihar assembly elections. He said that all the exit polls that have come out are false and misleading. This time the public has shown the NDA the way out of power and when the results come, the Grand Alliance will get a clear majority. Different channels have shown arbitrary exit polls, but the public mood is completely against the government. He is confident that the new government in Bihar will be formed by India Aghadi.
Wadettiwar also reacted to the allegations against Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s son in the land scam case that has surfaced in Pune. He said that efforts are being made to suppress Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar before the elections in Maharashtra. Many such cases are coming to light from Pune and this is not an isolated incident. The officer against whom action was taken in this case was only the Tehsildar, whereas the Tehsildar, Registrar, Collector and SDM are all responsible in the entire episode. All these people have been involved in this scam. Wadettiwar said that he has kept all the documents related to this entire case safe with himself and will hold a press conference in Nagpur on Friday and write a letter to the Chief Minister demanding strict action against the culprits.
He raised the question why the government is protecting the culprits in this case, when even the government itself does not have the power to cancel the land transaction. This matter will go to the court and it will decide whether the person goes to the court or the government.
Wadettiwar also made serious allegations against the central government regarding the bomb blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. He said that the blast took place in a sensitive area like Delhi and it took four days for the government to accept it. But why so? Was it a bomb blast or a chemical explosion? He raised the question that if it was a terror attack, then what were the government and intelligence agencies doing? Such a major accident took place in the city where the Prime Minister himself lives and the government is still unable to give a clear answer.
He said that in earlier times, leaders used to take moral responsibility for such accidents. Today, even after such a big accident, no one is resigning. Will the Home Minister resign? Will the Prime Minister apologize to the country? How did RDX reach Delhi? This in itself is the biggest proof of the failure of the government.
