Bihar government is working in public interest, opposition is looking at every step from political perspective: Ramkripal Yadav

Patna, June 27 (IANS). Bihar government minister Ramkripal Yadav on Saturday rejected the criticism of the opposition by giving his opinion on many subjects including Rohini Acharya’s ex-post, Bharatiya Janata Party’s public hearing system, the meeting of former Union Minister RCP Singh and former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, politics of West Bengal.

He said that the government is continuously working in the interest of the public and the opposition is trying to look at every government step from a political perspective.

While talking to news agency IANS, Ramkripal Yadav, while reacting to the X-post of Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav, said that every decision and every initiative of the government should not be seen through the prism of politics. He said that the work of the opposition is only to criticize, while the government is continuously paying attention to the works of public interest. Taking aim at the opposition, he said that the entire country is aware of the current situation of his party and in such a situation his political comments do not hold any special significance.

Referring to the public relations and public hearing program of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Minister said that the party organizes public hearings every day to listen to the problems of the common people and solve them. He said that a large number of people approach the public representatives with their complaints and problems, where they are listened to and efforts are made to solve the problems through the concerned officials. He said that the priority of BJP is to solve the problems of the people by staying among them and for this purpose, programs like public hearing are being run continuously.

Responding to the political developments in West Bengal, Ramkripal Yadav said that CM Suvendu Adhikari is doing good work in the state. Initiatives to make laws on topics like Love Jihad and support for implementing Uniform Civil Code (UCC) are welcome.

On the recent meeting between former Union Minister RCP Singh and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Ram Kripal Yadav said that in his opinion this meeting would have taken place in a positive atmosphere.

He said that RCP Singh has worked with Nitish Kumar for a long time to strengthen the party organization and both the leaders have a long and close relationship. He expressed hope that this meeting will yield positive results and it can also be seen as a positive sign from the political point of view.
