Sanjay Singh, Jan Suraj Party’s candidate from Munger Assembly seat in Bihar, joined the BJP on Wednesday, a day before the first phase of assembly elections.
It is noteworthy that Singh has given his support to BJP candidate and NDA candidate Kumar Prannoy from this seat.
“Bihar has seen tremendous development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. I am confident that the state will continue to develop further under the NDA regime,” Singh told reporters after joining the saffron party.
He expressed confidence that NDA will win the elections by a huge margin.
There has been no comment on this development from any senior leader of Jan Suraj Party. Meanwhile, sources said that sitting BJP MLA from Pirpainti Lalan Paswan joined RJD after not getting a ticket from the party.
