Kolkata, January 13 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have reacted strongly to the letter sent by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to the Chief Election Commissioner. He says that if Mamata Banerjee has any problem then she should present her point with evidence.
Speaking to news agency IANS, Union Minister of State Sukant Majumdar said, “Send as many letters as you want, but send evidence along with the letters. Mamata Banerjee should tell what evidence she has. If she has any problem, then present her point with evidence.”
Majumdar said that actually Mamata Banerjee does not have any evidence. Names of 24 lakh dead voters have been removed, out of which only three have been mentioned.
BJP leader Dilip Ghosh said that the work of SIR will be completed by the time Mamata Banerjee writes the letter and most of its work has already been done. He said that fake voters will be removed from the voter list.
Dilip Ghosh said that due to the actions of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee during the ED raid, we have been embarrassed in front of the entire country. This does not suit a Chief Minister. The matter is now in the court, every decision of which will be accepted.
He said, “When there is a raid on a private company, the addresses shown in its records and the locations of its owners are definitely searched. This happens everywhere. Why is the Chief Minister getting so worried about this? Why is there so much nervousness in her team?”
Dilip Ghosh alleged that Bengal has become a haven for anti-social and anti-national elements. There is no law and order in the state. People committing crimes everywhere come and hide in West Bengal.
Meanwhile, the BJP leader also reacted to Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the West. Dilip Ghosh said, “We have to win Bengal at any cost. That is why our central leaders, including the Prime Minister, the Home Minister and the National President, will keep visiting Bengal again and again. The BJP can bring change here and form the government. ‘Jungle Raj’ is going on here and it will be ended. People have faith in the BJP and the Prime Minister.”
