Samajwadi Party (SP) President and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav is continuously targeting BJP over the alleged controversy related to Ram Temple donations. Once again the SP chief attacked BJP through a post on social media platform ‘X’ and said that Ayodhya will prove to be ‘Kurukshetra’ for “poetry-sinners”.
In his post on ‘X’, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav wrote, “Ayodhya will prove to be Kurukshetra for ‘poetry-sinners’. BJP’s politics started from here and will end here. The incidents of theft related to Prasad, donations and foundation stone laying in Ayodhya have affected the number of pilgrims. People’s trust has been broken. This has had a direct impact on the local business and the earnings of the common man. Why should the public bear the brunt of the government’s mistakes?”
Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav further wrote, “Deep anger is brewing in Ayodhya and surrounding areas. BJP members and their associates, who tarnished the sanctity of this holy place of Sanatan, have gone underground after their misdeeds. Due to lack of clarity, the atmosphere is becoming increasingly suspicious and tense. Local residents are afraid of even visiting the temple, as they may come under investigation. An unknown fear has spread among the devotees. Investigation in progress. Information should be given on a daily basis, because in view of the ‘widespread corruption’ under the BJP government, the reports of irregularities coming out of Mathura are very serious; there should be a credible, high-level investigation in that case also.
