Jaipur, January 27 (IANS). The budget session of Rajasthan Assembly is going to start from Wednesday. Along with this, in view of the aggressive attitude and preparations of the opposition, the ruling party has also called a meeting of the legislature party at 4.30 pm. This meeting will be held at the CM residence under the chairmanship of CM Bhajanlal Sharma.
Jogaram Patel, cabinet minister in Rajasthan government, spoke to news agency IANS on the assembly session. He told that the budget session of Rajasthan Assembly will start from Wednesday. This budget session is historic for us. Our Rajasthan Assembly has a proud history and this is our third budget.
He said that both the historic budgets have come in the Rajasthan Assembly under the leadership of the present Chief Minister Bhajan Lal and their implementation has also been done on the ground. There are not just budget announcements, they have also been followed and the third budget will also be historic. Our opposition plays a very important role in the development of Rajasthan, it is our strength.
I have full confidence that all the opposition friends will put the issues on the table of the Assembly for the development of the common people of Rajasthan and the development of Rajasthan and the welfare of the people of Rajasthan.
Jogaram Patel said that he will express his views on development issues with logic and debate, suggestions, criticism and critique, to which the government was and will be ready to respond at all times. I have full confidence that the glorious history of Rajasthan Assembly will remain intact this time in the budget session.
At the same time, considering the recent issues along with the statements of opposition leaders, the budget session is likely to be turbulent. The opposition alleges that the government is constantly trying to divert attention from issues of public interest, whereas the government is linking it with law and order and administrative strength. In such a situation, there is a possibility of a situation of conflict within the House.
Next month, on February 11, the state budget will be tabled in the Assembly. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is continuously taking feedback by holding meetings of division level political and administrative officials. The government can play big bets on infrastructure development, new employment opportunities and social security schemes in this budget.
