Congress: A lawyer in Lucknow has filed a complaint against him in the court regarding the alleged statement of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. Advocate Nripendra Pandey alleged that Rahul Gandhi has made an anti -national statement by saying that the Congress’s new office Indira Bhavan in New Delhi, by saying that he would fight against the nation of India. In this case, the court has fixed October 1 to record the statement of the plaintiff.

The case has been filed by advocate Nripendra Pandey in the court of Special Magistrate of MPMLA Affairs. The complainant said that on 15 January 2025, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Congress headquarters, Rahul Gandhi had said that he is fighting against the nation of India. The lawyer claimed that this statement means that Rahul Gandhi is fighting against the Republic of India. The complaint said that 140 crore people of the country have been insulted by Rahul Gandhi’s statement.
These Congress leaders sued
Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, MP Priyanka Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rajya Sabha members KC Venugopal and Jairam Ramesh have been accused. Advocate Nripendra Pandey argued that all these leaders had not opposed Rahul Gandhi’s statement. He is also considered silent consent. All of them have conspired to break the country together, all the accused should be summoned and tried.
Attack on the integrity of the country
The complaint further stated that Rahul Gandhi’s comment is a direct attack on India’s sovereignty, unity and integrity. This is not due to slipping a tongue, but with the intention of fully conscious and destabilizing the country. This petition also cite Rahul Gandhi’s earlier speeches and controversies to prove that his comments are part of a well thought out conspiracy. The case will be heard on October 1.
