Chief Election Commissioner has insulted the dignity of his post: Pramod Tiwari

Delhi, February 11 (IANS). Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said regarding the SIR that the Chief Election Commissioner is currently giving the statement at the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party government. He has insulted the dignity of his post. I have to say with sadness that this is a very important post. This post was never in such controversy but he has made this post controversial with his actions. I am saddened that the public has lost faith in a person holding such an important position. The manner in which the SIR has been conducted is full of controversies.

Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said about Rahul Gandhi that Rahul Gandhi is a fearless and courageous leader of the opposition. I would say that after independence, he is one of the few opposition leaders who never compromised with the government. I count Rahul Gandhi among those two-three leaders who are facing the barbaric and continuous attacks of the Bharatiya Janata Party with full strength, courage and honesty.

Pramod Tiwari also reacted to the statement of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Mohan Yadav had criticized Congress leaders for not visiting Ram temple in Ayodhya. Regarding this statement, Pramod Tiwari taunted and said that Congress leaders do not go there with cameras. I have been there three-four times.

He said that I have a request to Mohan Yadav that please pay attention to the law and order of your state. You should be ashamed that a 90-year-old woman is being gang raped in your state and you are making such statements. He said that as the Tourism Minister of UP, I started Ram Katha Park and the construction of Ram Ki Paidi started during my tenure. He said that if we had built Ram Katha Park, we had also worked on the beauty of the Dargahs.
