Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will start Samriddhi Yatra from January 16, order issued to officials

Patna, January 11 (IANS). Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is about to leave on a district-wise tour. Orders have been issued to officials in this regard.

This visit of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be district wise and it has been named ‘Samriddhi Yatra’. This yatra of CM Nitish Kumar will be organized in various districts from January 16. The purpose of this visit is to inspect other important schemes of the district including Pragati Yatra and seven Nishchay schemes.

During the visit, the Chief Minister will conduct site inspection of other important schemes of the district under Pragati Yatra and seven Nishchay schemes. The foundation stone of important projects of the district will be laid and inaugurated. Along with this, CM will communicate with the public through Jan Samvad program.

CM Nitish Kumar will also hold a review meeting of district level schemes, in which all the officials will be present.

An order has been issued to the concerned District Officer to ensure all necessary preparations regarding this ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ of CM. When the CM goes to inspect the schemes, the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretaries of the concerned departments have also been asked to be present.

The Director General of Police and senior officers of the concerned departments have been asked to be present and participate in the review meeting. It was told that this yatra to be organized in the districts will be a medium to strengthen the communication between the public and the officials as well as to speed up the transparency and implementation of the schemes.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday visited the historical Golghar complex of Patna and gave several instructions to the officials. During the tour, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took stock of the Golghar Complex Park, the condition of the structure of Golghar, light and sound and laser show etc.

He instructed the officials that efforts should be made to enhance the beauty of the Golghar complex, due to which tourists will also reach here in large numbers. These days, beautification work is going on at a fast pace in Golghar, the Chief Minister himself reached the spot to take stock of its progress.
