Amravati, June 7 (IANS). Chintakayala Vijay has expressed gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and party President Chandrababu Naidu and General Secretary Lokesh on being made a Rajya Sabha member of Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
Chintakayla Vijay has issued a statement saying that this is the most important day of my life. Chief Minister and National President of Telugu Desam Party Chandrababu Naidu has given me the opportunity to serve as a Rajya Sabha member. Similarly, National General Secretary Lokesh has expressed confidence in me and has entrusted me with this responsibility. I will be indebted to both of them for the rest of my life.
He further said, “I am proud to tell every party worker that if you have faith in the Telugu Desam Party, carry its flag on your shoulders and work hard for it, you can achieve such a feat. Our party workers worked tirelessly in the last five years while in the opposition. They made many sacrifices, endured hardships and faced many challenges.”
Vijay said Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh gave the same message to all of them at every level, “This party will always stand with those who stand with it in difficult times.” Today is a living example of that commitment.
Vijay said, “Even in challenging times, my father Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu, I and my family have been working for the Telugu Desam Party with unwavering faith, enthusiasm and dedication since 1983. We are trying to strengthen and take the party forward. Keeping this in mind, TDP National President Chandrababu Naidu, State President Palla Srinivas Rao and National General Secretary Nara Lokesh together took this decision. For this I am forever grateful. Will remain. I express my heartfelt gratitude and respect to all of them.”
Chintakayala Vijay, “I would also like to thank all the loyal and dedicated Telugu Desam Party workers who have shown me immense affection from every village. We are all one TDP family. We may never know the auspicious circumstances under which Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) founded this great party, but considering him as our inspiration, the party has today conferred on Chintakayala Vijay the honor of serving as a Rajya Sabha member. I humbly request I say that this has been possible only because of the blessings and support of the Telugu Desam Party.”
