Jaipur, May 28 (IANS). Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inspected Rajasthan Sampark Helpline 181 at the Government Secretariat in Jaipur on Thursday. During this, he himself talked to the common people on phone, listened to their problems and gave instructions to the officials for immediate solution.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister tried to directly communicate with the complainants to know whether the benefits of government schemes and services are reaching the people properly or not.
In a conversation on phone, the Chief Minister said to a young man named Prince, a resident of Khairabad in Kota district, “I am Bhajanlal Sharma, tell me what is your problem?”
The complainant was surprised for a few moments after hearing the voice of the Chief Minister. After this he told about his problems related to electricity supply. The Chief Minister immediately directed the officials to resolve the matter quickly and assured the complainant that the problem would be resolved soon.
Similarly, Puniram, a resident of Ramgarh Pachwara in Dausa district, put forward a complaint related to the lease before the Chief Minister. On this Bhajanlal Sharma said, “I have come to your village. Instructions have already been given regarding your case.” Hearing this from the Chief Minister, the complainant expressed satisfaction.
Hemraj, a resident of Arai in Ajmer district, informed about the water problem in his area. The Chief Minister took detailed information about the entire matter and directed the concerned department to take immediate action.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that Rajasthan Sampark Helpline is becoming an effective medium to solve the problems of common people. He said that to further strengthen the system, senior officials of various departments have been instructed to visit the helpline center regularly.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister also reviewed the functioning of the helpline, the process of filing complaints and the monitoring system. He asked the officers to take periodic feedback from the employees, encourage those doing good work and ensure strong monitoring of resolution of complaints.
The Chief Minister stressed on ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of the problems of every complainant.
