Patna, January 29 (IANS). Bihar government minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal reacted on several issues related to Congress, RJD and the development of the state. He said that relations between Congress and regional parties have never been good, because Congress always focuses on promoting itself.
Referring to Bihar elections, Jaiswal told IANS, “If we look back, during the elections, Rahul Gandhi prepared Tejashwi Yadav to take to the streets, but when it came to bringing the chief ministerial face forward, Rahul Gandhi avoided it for many days. Congress does not want to see any regional party moving forward and hence the coordination between the two has always been weak.”
Speaking on employment schemes, the minister targeted the opposition. He said that the work done through the Parliament has been placed before the public and the opposition has also expressed its views, but the opposition is unable to tell that the old name of the scheme which is known today as Mahatma Gandhi was Jawahar Rozgar Yojana.
Minister Jaiswal praised the initiative of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar regarding the development of the state. He told that Nitish Kumar has started ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ to realize the dream of making Bihar a developed state. It is clearly visible in every cabinet meeting that the focus is on the development of Bihar. The concerns of farmers, women and youth are to create employment opportunities, attract investors, strengthen road, rail and air connectivity and take forward power projects. This is the path to developed Bihar.
The minister also reacted to Tejashwi Yadav becoming the national working president of RJD. He said, “In the Lalu family and Mulayam Singh Yadav’s family, it is believed that the post of national president or organizational president is inherited. Claim to such posts starts as soon as one is born.”
He raised the question whether it could ever happen that apart from Tejashwi Yadav, someone else could reach this post despite not being Lalu Yadav’s son. The tradition has been that only the son of the king becomes the king. Privileges come with silver and gold spoons right from birth.
