Congress is facing existential crisis, does not have the courage to implement the programs announced: Guru Prakash

अस्तित्व के संकट से जूझ रही कांग्रेस, कार्यक्रमों की घोषणा पर अमल का साहस नहीं : गुरु प्रकाश

Patna, July 13 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Guru Prakash fiercely attacked the opposition parties over the massive landslide in Wayanad, postponement of Rahul Gandhi’s Patna program, controversies related to the definition of Hindutva and Ram temple donations. He made several serious allegations against Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and said that the opposition raises issues for political gains.

Responding to the landslide incident in Wayanad, Guru Prakash said that the pictures from there are very frightening and worrying. Taking aim at the Congress, he said that there is a Congress government in Wayanad and there are Congress MPs from there. Commenting on Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, he said that public representatives should stand with the people of their area in times of crisis.

The BJP spokesperson said that MPs hold a constitutional post and they should fulfill their responsibilities. When a major tragedy occurs in any area, it is the responsibility of the public representatives to join the people in their grief and come forward to help them.

Guru Prakash cornered Congress even after Rahul Gandhi’s Patna program was postponed. He said the Congress party is in a state of “anarchy” and is going through an existential crisis. He alleged that Congress announces programs but many times its leaders do not participate in them. He also said that the party does not have the moral courage to even field a candidate to contest the elections.

Regarding the Supreme Court’s hearing on petitions demanding investigation into alleged irregularities in Ram temple offerings, the BJP leader said that the government has taken timely action after the matter came to light. Processes like investigation, FIR, SIT and arrest have been the priority of the government.

Guru Prakash accused the opposition parties of giving political color to the issue. He said that some people are trying to take political advantage of issues related to Ram Temple. Taking aim at the opposition, he said that the public is watching everything on the issues related to Ram temple and Lord Ram.

The BJP spokesperson also reacted to Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s statements related to Ram temple offerings. He alleged that Kejriwal and his party leaders had earlier also raised questions regarding the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. He said that now the same people are doing politics on disputes related to the temple.
