Congress News: On the occasion of the death anniversary of Honorable Kanshi Ram, a seminar was organized in the Uttar Pradesh Congress office under the chairmanship of State President Ajay Rai. During this, many speakers have discussed in detail the personality and work of Kanshi Ram. After the seminar, State Congress President Ajay Rai reached Samta Mulak Chauraha, the place of inspiration for social change, and paid tribute by garlanding the statue of Kanshi Ram.

On this occasion, hundreds of Congressmen including former state Congress president Brijlal Khabri, Scheduled Caste Department Chairman Tanuj Punia, MP Rakesh Rathore, former MP Kunwar Danish Ali, former provincial president Naseemuddin Siddiqui, former ministers Rajbahadur and OP Tripathi were present with him. Addressing the seminar, State Congress President Ajay Rai said that Honorable Kanshi Ram struggled throughout his life by becoming the voice of the Dalits, the deprived and the exploited. Taking aim at BSP chief Mayawati, she said that she did not remember Kanshi Ram, but Bihar elections are near, she is doing vote politics by misleading the Dalit community by organizing a rally at the behest of BJP.

Ajay Rai said that people’s leader Rahul Gandhi is fighting against the injustice and atrocities against Dalits in the entire country, from the House to the streets. Describing Kanshi Ram’s thoughts as immortal, former state Congress President Brijlal Khabri expressed grief that the people who had together established BSP have been marginalised.

Former minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui, while discussing the life and struggle of Kanshi Ram, said that he did not compromise with his goal even after suffering insults to awaken the Dalits, the exploited and the deprived. Former minister Raj Bahadur, who worked for Kashiram, said that Kanshiram had worked to awaken the sleeping people, now Rahul Gandhi is doing the same work. He described Rahul Gandhi as the real successor of Kanshi Ram. Scheduled Caste Chairman Tanuj Punia accused the BJP government of snatching the pen from the Dalits and said that today Rahul Gandhi is fighting the fight for them and the underprivileged.
