Congress targeted Punjab government, said- Gangsters are openly giving threats

कांग्रेस ने पंजाब सरकार पर साधा निशाना, कहा- गैंगस्टर खुलेआम दे रहे धमकियां

Chandigarh, November 18 (IANS). Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja Waring on Tuesday strongly attacked the Aam Aadmi Party’s Bhagwant Mann government. He raised questions on the law and order of the state.

Amarinder Singh Raja Waring posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and accused the Punjab government that gangsters in the state have got immunity from the law without giving any information, due to which they are openly giving death threats to big leaders and celebrities.

Punjab Congress President Raja Waring wrote, “Because gangsters have undisclosed immunity from the law, they have the courage to openly threaten former Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Balkaur Singh, Sidhu Moosewala’s father and another well-known singer.”

He wrote, “Though we have no expectations from the government, we have some expectations from our Punjab Police. It is also a challenge to its credibility, courage and bravery that gangsters have the courage to threaten/kill whoever they want. This is not acceptable.”

In fact, in recent times, allegedly jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates have posted several posts on social media, in which open threats have been made to kill former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa, Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh and a famous Punjabi singer. After this post went viral, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire Punjab.

Punjab’s main opposition party Congress is attacking the Bhagwant Mann government. Congress accused the AAP government of not maintaining law and order in the state. Congress has termed it as ‘complete failure’ of Bhagwant Mann government. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has completely rejected these allegations.
