New Delhi, July 25 (IANS). Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reacted to Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation from the post of Education Minister. He said that the country, the countrymen and the young generation are most important for our government.
He said that for BJP workers, the country, our young generation and students are more important than the position. Today, the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from his post shows this.
He said that the Modi government respects the sentiments of the youth of the country and is committed to necessary reforms against paper leaks. The decisions taken by Prime Minister Modi to ensure that the culprits of the paper leak get strict punishment are commendable. I have full confidence that these steps will provide complete justice to the students who have succeeded in the NEET exam.
He said that during his tenure, Dharmendra Pradhan has made important reforms in the direction of effective implementation of National Education Policy (NEP), arrangement of examinations in mother tongues, expansion of PM Shri Vidyalayas, promotion of digital education, skill development and strengthening industry-academia coordination. His efforts towards making the examination system more inclusive and student-centric have also been noteworthy. His tenure is a reflection of his dedication towards making India a developed nation.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned amid protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar. Pradhan said that serving the nation is the top priority of his life.
Posting on social media platform I have always believed that a strong, inclusive and visionary education system is the foundation of a strong nation. I deeply respect the aspirations, sentiments and legitimate expectations of the youth of the country.
He wrote that realizing the dreams of the young generation of India has been the moral resolution of the political and social life of all of us. I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister for the opportunity I got to serve the nation under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Irregularities were found in the NEET UG examination held on May 3. The Government of India immediately took cognizance of this and handed over the investigation to the CBI and canceled the examination and announced the date of re-examination. Along with this, it was decided to conduct this examination in CBT mode from next year. During this period, our main priority was to conduct the examinations of more than 20 lakh students smoothly. For this, work was done under the overall approach of the government. In this, along with the Government of India, the state government, especially the district administration, played an important role.
