Court will take right decision at right time in Pappu Yadav case: Rampreet Mandal

New Delhi, February 8 (IANS). JDU MP Rampreet Mandal gave important statements regarding the arrest of MP Pappu Yadav, uproar in the budget session of Parliament and West Bengal Assembly elections. He said the law is taking its course and everyone should respect the constitutional process.

Reacting to Pappu Yadav’s arrest, JDU MP Rampreet Mandal told IANS that he has been a six-time MP and the matter is serious. Pappu Yadav himself must have known that if this was the case then he should have applied for bail earlier. This is completely a matter related to constitutional law and the law is taking its course. I hope that the court will take the right decision at the right time and grant him bail.

After this Rampreet Mandal targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi continuously disrupted the proceedings of the House during the budget session. The country is run by the constitution and law. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was fully prepared to speak in the Lok Sabha, but Rahul Gandhi and his associates did not allow him to speak.

Rampreet Mandal further said that all this was done deliberately so that the message goes to the public that Rahul Gandhi is a big leader. He said, “Rahul Gandhi is not a big leader. Rahul Gandhi has no standing in front of Prime Minister Modi. He disrupts the proceedings of Parliament just to remain in TRP and headlines.”

On the question of fielding JDU candidate for West Bengal elections, Rampreet Mandal said that at present there is no official information regarding this. If our executive president Sanjay gives any information on this, I will definitely tell you all.

While talking about the political situation in West Bengal, the JDU MP reiterated the party’s commitment towards the NDA. He said, “We stand strongly with the NDA. Looking at the current situation in Bengal, it seems that the NDA will get a big victory there and form the government with huge support.”
