Delhi government's honor to Rohit Mukhiya, who saved his life in Malviya Nagar fire, Rs 5 lakh assistance and free treatment

New Delhi, June 18 (IANS). The Delhi government has honored the courage of Rohit Mukhiya, who saved the lives of many people during the massive fire incident in Malviya Nagar. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced to provide immediate financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the family of Rohit Mukhiya and the government will bear the entire cost of treatment till his complete recovery.

“During the tragic incident of fire in Malviya Nagar, Rohit Mukhiya displayed extraordinary courage and humanity by saving the lives of many people. He has set an inspiring example of duty and compassion,” the post on CMO Delhi’s official ‘

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote a letter to Rohit Mukhiya praising his courage. In the letter, he wrote, “The courage, devotion and human compassion you have shown in adverse circumstances is extremely inspiring. Even in times of crisis, you maintained patience and discharged your responsibilities. This courage of yours will become a source of inspiration for many people.”

In a letter to Rohit Mukhiya, the Chief Minister further said that the Delhi government has decided to immediately provide an ex-gratia amount of Rs 5 lakh for his treatment and to help the family. Also, the government will bear their entire medical expenses till complete recovery. Instructions have been given to the concerned officials that there should be no shortcoming in the treatment of Rohit and he should be provided the best medical facilities.

CM Rekha Gupta expressed confidence and said, “I am confident that with your courage, efforts of doctors and affection of your family, you will soon recover and return to your family. The Delhi government is fully standing with you in this difficult time.”

In the Malviya Nagar fire incident, Rohit Mukhiya had saved many people by risking his life without thinking. His bravery is being appreciated.
