Dictionary of RJD and Congress is full of words like bitterness and corruption: PM Modi in Saharsa

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched an all-out attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress in Bihar, accusing them of carrying out ‘political tours to protect infiltrators’ and taunting the opposition with ‘jungle raj’.

Addressing a rally in Saharsa, Prime Minister Modi alleged that the dictionary of RJD and Congress is full of words like katta, cruelty and corruption.

He said, “What words, what emotions are there in the dictionary of RJD and Congress? The dictionary of RJD and Congress is full of words like ‘Katta’, cruelty, bitterness, ill-manneredness, bad governance and corruption. They have learned all this in the school of Jungle Raj.”

Prime Minister Modi said that senior leaders of Congress and RJD have not got time to visit Ram temple in Ayodhya and there are also temples of Shabari Mata and Nishad Raj in the city.

The PM said, “These RJD and Congress people travel all over the world. We read about it on social media and feel ashamed, but they do not get time to visit Ram temple. There is a temple built for Nishad Raj. There is also a temple of Lord Valmiki in Ayodhya. There is also a temple of Shabari Mata in Ayodhya.”

He said, “If you have a problem with Ram, then at least bow your head at the feet of Nishad Raj. Why are you ashamed of it? They will not go. They will roam all over the world. The Congress royal family, the RJD royal family, celebrate festivals of the world and enjoy celebrating foreign festivals. But what do these people say when it comes to Chhath festival? These people say that all of them are just doing drama.”

Recently, pictures of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav celebrating the festival of Halloween with his grandchildren surfaced. Yadav’s daughter Rohini Acharya posted pictures of her children dressed in Halloween costumes on social media on Friday. Yadav was seen posing with his grandchildren.

Prime Minister Modi discussed the NDA government’s efforts towards women empowerment and cautioned people, including the youth, against “Jungle Raj”.

He said, “I would like to tell every sister and daughter of Bihar to be alert. These people of Jungle Raj want to stop any help you get. Be it RJD or Congress, they have nothing to do with development. The identity of NDA is development and the identity of RJD and Congress is destruction.”

He further said, “Your parents have seen the times when even our guards were not safe. The lives of the policemen were also in danger. I want to remind you of an incident from Saharsa. Our brave DSP Satyapal Singh of Saharsa was taking action against the people of Jungle Raj. This did not go well with the RJD bosses sitting in Patna and the supporters of Jungle Raj. Everyone’s life was in danger in Jungle Raj. Every officer, every contractor, every businessman was in fear. As a result, Nitish Kumar’s government has transformed Bihar into a state of good governance.”

He also targeted Congress and said that its people are making promises which have been fulfilled.

He said, “Even when the Congress and RJD governments were in power at the Center for 10 years, they had said that they would build a university in Nalanda. They gave only Rs 20 crore for the university and then forgot about it. A school cannot be built in a village with the amount of Rs 20 crore.”

He further said, “When you gave me the opportunity to serve you in 2014, when our government came to power, we started a campaign to restore the glory of Nalanda. With a whole heart and hard work, we allocated more than Rs 2,000 crore to the university in 10 years. Today, we have built a magnificent campus for Nalanda University. Today, I proudly say that students from more than 21 countries are studying in Nalanda University.”

Prime Minister Modi said that Bihar needs to be protected from infiltrators and accused Congress and RJD of giving protection to infiltrators.

He said, “Whether it is Congress or RJD, they are only associated with infiltrators. These people do political tours to save infiltrators. Tell me, will you decide the future of Bihar or will the infiltrators decide? These infiltrators are occupying your property, laying claim to your resources. Bihar needs to be saved from infiltrators. We are working to drive out these infiltrators.”

Voting will be held in Bihar on 6 and 11 November and the results will be declared on 14 November.
