Bhopal, June 13 (IANS). Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav during his visit to Bhopal on Saturday and discussed issues related to education, youth development and governance.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav welcomed him at his official residence. Both BJP leaders discussed important issues related to governance and development.
Earlier, as part of the programs organized to commemorate Narendra Modi’s tenure as Prime Minister for the longest time, Dharmendra Pradhan took part in the cleaning campaign at Nageshwar Mahadev Temple in Surajnagar.
Describing this initiative as an embodiment of the spirit of public participation, the Union Minister urged citizens to make cleanliness a part of their everyday lives and contribute to the vision of a clean, healthy and developed India.
Dharmendra Pradhan along with Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang visited the shooting academy and interacted with the players. Addressing the gathering, he mentioned the emphasis being laid on skill development and sports by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that in the National Education Policy (NEP), special emphasis has been laid on promoting sports and physical education and linking them with mainstream education. He said that a special academic framework is being prepared so that sports and studies can progress together.
Dharmendra Pradhan described hosting the 2036 Olympics as a national aspiration and reiterated his commitment to realize Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a “developed India” by 2047. During this, he said, “When India completes 100 years of independence, it should emerge as a developed nation and global power.”
