New Delhi, March 16 (IANS). Union Minister JP Nadda has accused Congress of doing politics when there is a crisis in the country. Along with this, regarding LPG gas cylinders, he said that a Congress leader has been found hoarding LPG gas cylinders.
JP Nadda presented this information in the Rajya Sabha on Monday. At the same time, he also told the House that this current situation of LPG is not caused by India nor does India have any contribution in this situation. Nadda was responding to the statement given by Leader of Opposition in the House Mallikarjun Kharge.
In fact, earlier, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge had raised the issue of shortage of LPG in the country. In response, Rajya Sabha leader JP Nadda said, “I am saddened that our opposition, especially the Indian National Congress, does not shy away from doing politics in the country even in times of crisis.”
JP Nadda told the House that this crisis of LPG gas in the country has not happened because of India and India has no contribution in it. He said that this has arisen entirely due to international circumstances. We all know that this crisis has arisen due to these international conditions.
Nadda said that Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has already given detailed information in the House about this crisis. But when he was speaking, these people were not ready to listen. Union Minister JP Nadda said that apart from this, a Congress leader has been caught hoarding LPG cylinders. They have tried to instigate the public by hoarding cylinders. He said that these people of Congress are trying to provoke the peace loving people of the country.
JP Nadda said that doing politics even in such circumstances is very unfortunate. Instead of standing with the country in times of crisis, trying to create panic and anarchy in the country by raising this issue is highly condemnable. It is noteworthy that Mallikarjun Kharge gave a detailed statement on this subject during Zero Hour in the House.
On this, JP Nadda told the Chairman that this is zero hour and the honorable member, who is also the leader of the opposition, should know that he has to present his views within three minutes only. But he has spoken for more than six minutes. Therefore I think your intervention is necessary on this.
