Appeal of NC leaders on the holy occasion of Shab-e-Qadr, wish for permanent peace and harmony

Srinagar, March 20 (IANS). On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference greeted the state and the countrymen. The party shared the message of party president Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah through a post on its official X handle.

Jammu and Kashmir National Conference wrote in the X Post, “Party President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extend their warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire country on this auspicious occasion. May this auspicious time bring peace, happiness and prosperity to you and your loved ones, and may it fill your homes with affection and your hearts with contentment.”

In their message, both the leaders said that may this holy occasion bring peace, happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life. He wished that this festival fills people’s homes with warmth and affection and brings contentment and peace in their hearts.

Earlier, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and President of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti has also heartily congratulated the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In his message, he emphasized peace, harmony and human solidarity, as well as expressed concern over the ongoing humanitarian challenges in Iran.

Explaining the spiritual significance of Eid-ul-Fitr, he said that it marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan. This festival provides an opportunity to rededicate oneself to integrity, honesty, self-discipline, patience and piety. It is also an opportunity to thank Allah for giving us the strength to fast.
