Gandhinagar, March 13 (IANS). Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said on Friday that gas cylinders will be available to everyone on time. Also claimed that there is no shortage despite the current global situation.
The Chief Minister was addressing farmers during the state-level program of PM-Kisan Yojana. During this, he appealed to the people not to spread rumors about LPG supply and assured that those who need gas cylinders will get them without any problem.
He said that there is no problem in the global situation that has arisen. If someone needs gas, he will get it. No one should spread false rumours. Everyone will get gas cylinders on time.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a program organized in connection with the release of the 22nd installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the Central Government directly transferred Rs 2,000 into the accounts of eligible farmers through DBT.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released this installment from Guwahati, under which an amount of more than Rs 18,640 crore was transferred to the accounts of more than 9.32 crore farmer families across the country. Under this latest installment, an amount of more than Rs 1,028 crore is expected to come directly into the bank accounts of about 49.59 lakh farmer families of Gujarat.
Referring to the scheme, Patel said that whenever any issue related to farmers comes up, the Prime Minister has worked with full sensitivity for the farmers since his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. He said that farming is very difficult without water and this shows the important role of Narmada Canal Network in providing water to remote areas of the state.
CM Patel also mentioned electricity supply for agriculture and homes. He said that work has been done to supply electricity required for agriculture and homes. He said that Gujarat had taken up the task of providing electricity day and night, and now about 96 percent of the farmers in the state get electricity during the day.
