Goa Congress leader Ketan Bhatikar passes away, many leaders including CM Pramod Sawant expressed grief

Panaji, May 15 (IANS). Well-known physiotherapist and Congress leader Ketan Bhatikar passed away on Friday morning. This caused a wave of mourning in Goa politics. Many leaders including Chief Minister Pramod Sawant have expressed grief over the demise of Ketan Bhatikar.

According to the information, Ketan Bhatikar was allegedly bitten by a snake while stopping at Anmod Ghat in Dharbandora, Goa during the journey. He was later taken to Dharbandora Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

After this, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed grief over the demise of Ketan Bhatikar. He wrote in the ‘

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar wrote on social media platform ‘X’, “We are extremely saddened by the demise of our party leader, Dr. Ketan Bhatikar.”

Amit Patkar wrote in the post, “Ketan Bhatikar’s unwavering dedication towards public service and his invaluable contribution to the society will always be remembered with great respect. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and supporters. May his soul rest in peace and give strength to his loved ones in this difficult time.”

Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has also expressed grief over the demise of Ketan Bhatikar. He said, “I am shocked and saddened to hear the sudden demise of Ketan Bhatikar, a well-known and prominent leader of Goa. My deepest condolences to his family, loved ones and supporters in this hour of grief. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.”
