Farming and Natural Farming
• A new scheme named Maharashtra Natural Farming Campaign will be implemented in the state.

• Animal husbandry accounts for about 25% of the state’s agricultural income; To increase this, Chief Minister Rural Livestock Entrepreneurship Scheme will be started.
• Animal husbandry and fisheries sector will be given the status of farming, so that these sectors will be able to get the same basic facilities and subsidies as farming.
encouragement to women farmers
• This year has been declared the International Year of Women Farmers.
• Special incentive programs will be started for women shepherds, poultry farmers and goat herders.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
• To increase self-reliance in energy, additional grant will be given for installation of rooftop solar panels in urban and rural houses.

• Mukhyamantri Baliraja Farm Roads Scheme will be launched to strengthen roads reaching farmers’ fields.

• Construction of 26,758 km of roads and 782 bridges is almost complete.
