Cooch Behar, April 5 (IANS). Union Minister Sukant Majumdar claimed that BJP will get two-third majority in Bengal. Along with this, he fiercely targeted TMC on law and order related issues.

Speaking to IANS, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar said, “I think this time BJP will form the government with two-thirds majority. The people of Bengal have decided that in this election, Narendra Modi’s government, i.e. a double engine government, will be formed in Bengal.”

Questioning the law and order situation in West Bengal, the Union Minister said, “The Election Commission conducts elections independently. The TMC of Bengal is not accustomed to independent administration. Even the people of Bengal do not have this experience. If the TMC had any concrete evidence or information against the Election Commission, the Supreme Court would have given the verdict in favor of the TMC. What is the Supreme Court saying today? The Supreme Court told our state government representative Kishore Babu that your state is the most polarized state.”

On Mamata Banerjee opposing SIR, Majumdar said, “SIRs (Judicial Officers Amendment) took place in 5 states. There is nothing wrong anywhere. SIRs are happening in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. There is no BJP ruled state like Bengal. Nothing wrong is happening here. SIR, as per the same rules, is happening in 5 states. If the problem is happening only in one state, then naturally the question arises, is the problem happening in SIR Or is the problem happening in the state?”

He said, “The judicial officer in Bengal has been taken hostage. The Election Commission has handed over the investigation of this case to the NIA, the Supreme Court is very strict in this matter. Therefore, the power of the Constitution of India has to be shown to the TMC goons of Bengal and it is visible.

He said, “In Bengal, due to better medical facilities compared to Bangladesh, many women used to come here during pregnancy and their child was born in the hospital here. They became citizens here because of the birth certificate being issued. This trend was going on for years, because the border was open. There was no fence on the border. Nothing like this was done earlier to stop it. Names of one lakh voters were added in Cooch Behar in the Lok Sabha elections, due to which the BJP candidate had to face defeat. Border There is only Muslim population in the adjoining areas, Hindus have migrated. I think Bengal is going back to the situation before 1946.”
