'Inciting people and creating wrong narrative will no longer work', Shaina NC's response to the protest against UCC

Mumbai, April 4 (IANS). Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC has reacted sharply to All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s opposition to UCC. He said that provoking people and setting wrong narrative will no longer work.

Speaking to IANS on All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s statement against the imposition of UCC in Gujarat, Shaina NC said, “The All India Muslim Personal Law Board should think about what the UCC bill is all about. Just provoking people and setting a wrong narrative will no longer suffice.”

Meanwhile, on the arrest of AIMIM Mofakkarul Islam in the Malda violence, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC said, “Parties like AIMIM only mislead people and their aim has never been to maintain peace. In this context, when the police takes action and arrests them, it will be on the basis that there is evidence against them. Anyway, law and order is a state subject and this is not the first time that people are taking the law into their own hands in West Bengal.”

Supporting CM Yogi’s statement on infiltration, Shaina NC said, “The Chief Minister is right in saying that infiltrators destabilize the country. Therefore, it is our duty to drive out infiltrators. Some people give shelter to infiltrators for their vote bank.”

The Shiv Sena leader further said, “Congress has always supported infiltrators and played politics by misleading the minority community. Its vote bank politics has been going on for a long time. This is the first time after 2014 that a clean election process is going on. Naxalism and terrorism are being eliminated.”

In the case of Raghav Chaddha, the Shiv Sena leader said, “The agenda of Arvind Kejriwal and his people is very clear. They encourage those who speak against the government and show the door to those who put the country first. Raghav Chaddha’s statements were in the national interest. The action taken by the Aam Aadmi Party against him reflects the state of insecurity in the party.”
