Ranchi/Koderma, April 8 (IANS). There was a sensation in Jharkhand’s Ranchi and Koderma districts on Wednesday when bodies of two people were found in suspicious conditions in separate incidents. There was a stir in Chatakpur village under Ratu police station area of ​​Ranchi on Wednesday morning when the villagers saw the dead body of a youth inside a closed house.

As soon as information about the case was received, Ratu police station in-charge Adikant Mahato reached the spot with the police force and started investigation. According to the police, prima facie this case appears to be an accident. The station in-charge said that an 11,000 volt high-tension power line passed right above the house where the body of the youth was found.

Police suspect that the young man may have unknowingly come in contact with this wire, due to which he died on the spot. However, the police are also looking into murder and other points. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The relatives of the deceased have been informed and the process of their identification is being completed.

The body of 55-year-old farmer Kishore Yadav, resident of Nawadih village, who was missing for three days in Dhab police station area of ​​Koderma district, was found hanging from a tree in the forest. Relatives of the deceased told that Kishore Yadav had gone out to the forest to graze his cattle on April 5, but did not return till late evening. Even after a lot of searching, when nothing was found about him, on April 6, his family lodged a written report of his missing at Dhab police station.

On Wednesday, when some villagers went to the forest to collect wood, they noticed a dead body hanging from a tree. As soon as the information was received, Dhab police station in-charge Bambam Sah reached the spot with the police team, got the body down and sent it to Sadar Hospital Koderma for post-mortem.

According to preliminary information received from family members and villagers, Kishore Yadav was suffering from severe mental stress for the last few days. On this basis, the police are considering it as a case of suicide and are taking the investigation forward. The station in-charge said that the exact cause of death will be revealed only after the post-mortem report comes.
