Speaking to ANI, Imran Masood said, “Is Priyanka Gandhi the Prime Minister? Make her the Prime Minister and see how she will hit back like Indira Gandhi. She is Priyanka Gandhi. She has ‘Gandhi’ in front of her name. She is the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi, who caused so much damage to Pakistan that those wounds are still not healed. Make her the Prime Minister and see how she will hit back. You will not dare to do that.”

Recently, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urged the Center to take cognizance of the increasing violence against Hindu, Christian and Buddhist minorities following the murder of Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh.

Vadra pointed to the brutal killings of religious minorities in Bangladesh.

In a post on X, he said, “The news of the brutal lynching of Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh is extremely worrying. Discrimination, violence and murder on the basis of religion, caste, identity etc. are crimes against humanity in any civilized society. The Government of India should take cognizance of the increasing violence against Hindu, Christian and Buddhist minorities in the neighboring country and strongly raise the issue of their safety with the Government of Bangladesh.”

Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested seven people in connection with the lynching of a Hindu youth in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. Mohammad Yunus, Chief Advisor to the Government of Bangladesh, gave this information in a post.

The victim, Dipu Chandra Das (27), a textile worker and follower of Sanatan Dharma, was beaten to death in Bhaluka area of Mymensingh district on December 18.

According to the police, the reason for the murder was blasphemy allegations. Bangladesh’s largest minority organization, Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, strongly condemned the killing, calling it a cruel act threatening communal harmony.
