Prayagraj, January 25 (IANS). Mahamandaleshwar Mamta Kulkarni of Kinnar Akhara has claimed that she has seen Kalki avatar and Lord Parashurama is training her. His statement has become the subject of a new discussion.
Speaking to IANS, Mamta Kulkarni said, “The spiritual journey is not just about external appearances or position, but it is about inner feeling and consciousness. I have got the opportunity to see and understand many things which are not possible in normal life. I have seen Kalki avatar and also seen Lord Parashurama training her.
He said, “There are some rules of spirituality. It is not appropriate to make everything public. Some experiences are only between the seeker and God. I know a lot, but it is not right to speak or reveal everything.
Taking aim at Jyotishpeeth’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, Mamta Kulkarni said, “It is very important to give up ego before reaching a big position like Shankaracharya.” If there is ego left within a person, he cannot understand the dignity of that position.
On the issue of Ram temple, Mamta Kulkarni said, “When the Ram temple was being constructed in Ayodhya after a wait of almost five hundred years, it was welcomed by almost all sections of the country and society. At that time everyone except Shankaracharya accepted this historical moment. He was punished for this when he said not to go to the Ram temple, at the same time a landslide occurred near the Jyotish Math. This was God’s punishment.”
Mamta Kulkarni also spoke on truth and religion. He said that there is no virtue greater than truth and no sin greater than lie. The real meaning of religion is truth. If there is no truth in life, then any kind of clothing, position, or identity is useless.
She said, “I have been wearing saffron clothes for the last 25 years and have been following the path of meditation, penance and sadhana. This is my lifestyle, but I do not consider myself tied to any clothes or position.”
Speaking on politics, Mamta Kulkarni said, “I do not like fanaticism and religion should be a personal subject.”
He also commented on the political inclinations of Swami Avimukteshwaranand and raised the question that even if the Samajwadi Party comes to power, will cow slaughter stop? Giving his opinion on the current political situation, he said that as long as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is there, he does not see any other leader even far and wide.
At the same time, regarding the future of Congress, he said that he sees more potential in Priyanka Gandhi than Rahul Gandhi.
