MK Stalin lauds Nitish Kumar for decisive victory, condemns Election Commission

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday congratulated senior Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Nitish Kumar for his decisive victory.

Stalin also criticized the Election Commission, saying that the results of this election cannot hide its “misdeeds”. He praised Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) youth leader Tejashwi Yadav for his tireless campaign.

“Bihar election results are a lesson for everyone,” Chief Minister Stalin said in a post on social media platform ‘X’. The election results reflect delivery of welfare schemes to the beneficiaries, social and ideological alliance, clear political messaging and dedicated management till the final vote.”

He said that the leaders of ‘India’ (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) alliance are experienced who are capable of understanding the message and making strategic plans to deal with the emerging challenges. Criticizing the Election Commission, he said, “The results of this election cannot hide the misdeeds and careless actions of the Election Commission.” The prestige of the Election Commission is at its lowest level.

Stalin said that the citizens of the country deserve a stronger and more impartial Election Commission, whose conduct of elections instills confidence even among those who did not win.
