Mohan Bhagwat spoke from the heart of the people who love the country and the nation: Shrikant Bhartiya

मोहन भागवत ने देश और राष्ट्र से प्रेम करने वाले लोगों के मन की बात कही: श्रीकांत भारतीय

Mumbai, February 9 (IANS). On the statement of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat that Veer Savarkar should be given Bharat Ratna. BJP leader Shrikant Bharatiya said that Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has expressed the thoughts of the people who love the country and the nation.

Speaking to IANS in Mumbai, BJP leader Shrikant Bharatiya said that the whole world knows the dedication, sacrifice and martyrdom of Veer Savarkar, everyone knows what he did to get freedom for the country. That is why the Sangh chief has expressed the sentiments of crores of people.

On Congress MP Imran Masood’s statement on Veer Savarkar, BJP leader Shrikant Bharatiya asked whether Imran Masood was not born in India. It is the responsibility of Imran Masood to understand the country’s freedom struggle. Who fought for independence? Who sacrificed and dedicated himself. Who was jailed for 14 years in Kala Pani? If Imran Masood does not read this, it is unfortunate for him.

Giving advice to Imran Masood, the BJP leader said that all those who have surrendered for the country’s independence should be read.

On BJP’s BMC Mayor candidate Ritu Tawde, BJP leader Shrikant Bharatiya said that we have fulfilled the promise made to the people of Mumbai. We had said that she would be a part of Hindu, Marathi and Mahayuti. Ritu Tawde is Hindu, Marathi and part of Mahayuti. We have fulfilled the promise that Devendra Fadnavis had made to the people of Mumbai.

On Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement on UCC, BJP leader Shrikant Bharatiya said that Common Civil Code is not a new idea for us. Bharatiya Janata Party has been talking with the society on this issue for a long time and will continue to do so in future also. If Mohan Bhagwat has talked about it, then it is a subject whose aim is to bring the common people into the mainstream of the society. Such a demand reflects the aspirations of crores of people in the country today.
