NDA has accepted defeat in Bihar elections, ministers are preparing to vacate their houses: Pawan Kheda's claim

Senior Congress leader Pawan Khera on Sunday claimed that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has “accepted defeat” in the Bihar Assembly elections and many of its ministers are preparing to vacate their official residences.

Speaking to reporters, Kheda claimed that officials were shifting important files at the behest of the ruling coalition “in view of the fear of defeat”.

He said, “After the enthusiasm of the voters after the first phase of voting and the trend seen in favor of ‘India’ alliance in the last phase of voting (November 11), the NDA leaders have accepted defeat.

Kheda alleged, “We have received information that many ministers of the NDA government, including the Deputy Chief Minister, have started the process of vacating their official residences. It is also possible that soon there may be reports of fire at the places where these files are kept.”

Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement regarding “Katta” given in election rallies in Bihar, Khera said that the Prime Minister has insulted the youth of Bihar.

He said, “The Prime Minister should apologize for his statement.” It is noteworthy that Modi had said in meetings in Sitamarhi and Bettiah on Saturday that people are not voting for the RJD-led opposition in Bihar because they fear that if they come to power, his regime will point ‘Katta’ (country-made pistol) at people’s heads and say ‘hands up’.
