Patna, March 8 (IANS). Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar finally entered active politics on Sunday. Nishant Kumar took membership of the party in the presence of senior party leaders at the JDU office in Patna.
After formally joining the party, Nishant Kumar met his father and state CM Nitish. Made the mouth sweet by feeding him sweets. During this, JDU National Working President Sanjay Jha was also present. After Nishant joined the party, JDU MLAs have said that whatever responsibility Nishant Kumar gets, he will live up to it.
JDU MLA Shalini Mishra said that I am very happy and congratulate him. There is a lot of excitement here due to Nishant Kumar’s arrival in the party. There are a lot of expectations from Nishant Kumar. He will take Bihar to new heights by following the footsteps and values of Nitish Kumar.
On Nishant Kumar joining active politics, senior JDU leader Lacey Singh said that he has taken up the responsibility, is the idol of the youth, is educated, has studied engineering. Are of very simple nature. Will start work after joining the party. His arrival has filled the youth with enthusiasm. I think the party will become stronger.
He hit back at RJD leaders’ statement on Nitish Kumar. He said that the opposition people are shedding tears today. Where was his mentality when he was continuously making wrong statements about Nitish Kumar. Our party and Nitish Kumar do not need their sympathy. Nitish Kumar has worked for Bihar and will work in future also under his guidance. Whatever responsibility Nishant Kumar gets, he will handle it.
Minister Shravan Kumar said that we wish Nishant Kumar all the best for moving forward and assuming leadership. He has the support of every big and small leader of the party. The enthusiasm of the youth is visible, they have to think very seriously about their responsibilities.
JDU MLA Komal Singh said that we had wanted for a long time that Nishant Kumar should come into active politics. Today is a very happy moment that on the demand of workers like us, Nishant Kumar has joined the party. Every youth of Bihar is happy today with the party worker.
