Patna, March 7 (IANS). Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was keeping distance from politics till now, is now going to enter the politics of Bihar. JDU MP Sanjay Jha has confirmed that Nishant Kumar will join the JDU family.
While talking to the media in Patna, JDU MP Sanjay Jha said that the Legislature meeting was held on Friday in the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. In this meeting, we demanded before the CM to bring Nishant Kumar into politics, which the CM has accepted. Nishant Kumar will join the party on Sunday. After this they will start working for the party from the next day.
He said that Nitish Kumar has worked for Bihar for a long time when he was the CM. He has the record of taking oath as CM 10 times. I think Nitish Kumar’s work is above many posts. He adds beauty to the place where he sits. He has decided to go to Rajya Sabha and we are with him. Only yesterday we decided that Nishant Kumar will join the party and work. He will start working from the next day.
JDU MP said that I think the future of Bihar and JDU is bright. Only the role of Nitish Kumar is changing. During the session, Nitish Kumar will stay in Delhi for a few days, the rest of the time he will stay in Bihar and take care of the work, that is why no one should have any misconception that Nitish Kumar has gone to Delhi forever. They will keep taking information about the development works of Bihar and will also give suggestions.
Regarding the future of Nishant Kumar, JDU MP said that what role will Nishant Kumar play in the future and will he join the government? This will decide the party leadership in the coming times.
JDU State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha said that CM Nitish Kumar has assured that he will stay here and whatever work the party does, the government will also work under his guidance. Everyone has also demanded that Nishant Kumar join the party. Which has been accepted.
