'Nothing works on faith', said Congress leader Udit Raj on 'Mahakal Standard Time'

New Delhi, April 4 (IANS). Congress leader Udit Raj, while reacting to ‘Mahakal Standard Time’ (MST) instead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), said that nothing is based on faith. He said that let us prove it scientifically and logically, then maybe we can support.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in a statement that the time has come that we logically establish Mahakal Standard Time (MST) in place of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

On this, Udit Raj, while talking to IANS, said, “There should be a global consensus on such things (Mahakal Standard Time). These (BJP leaders) leave shigufa from time to time. Nothing is based on faith. Prove it scientifically and logically, maybe it is true then we will support.”

He said, “Here we become Vishwaguru that the whole world is being run by us. There was plastic surgery in ancient India and we have given knowledge to the whole world, but this knowledge is nowhere to be seen. Everyone is studying through the schooling system created by Europe. Its knowledge and technology is being used.”

Udit Raj also reacted to the statement of All India Imam Organization chief Omar Ahmed Ilyasi on PoK. He said, “A narrative is created. Everyone knows what is behind it. The second thing is that earlier there was welfare for SC-ST, but now after the removal of 370, discrimination against them has increased a lot. Officers from North India have gone. The governor system has been exported from here to there. Only LG is running it, so the discrimination is huge. Discrimination against Dalits has increased, which is also in government departments. The benefit of 370 is SC/ST. Didn’t get anything.”

The Congress leader further said, “The feedback of many people there is that before the removal of 370, things used to be very good. Now they feel very exploited and humiliated. They are discriminated against.”
