Lucknow News: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Pintu Mahadev made violent remarks on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a live television debate show. The remarks that have created a stir in the country’s politics. Amid the ongoing debate on the subject related to the Ladakh violence, Pintu Mahadev directly threatened Rahul Gandhi on the national channel and said that he would be shot in the chest. The clip of this statement became increasingly viral on social media, after which the political dispute deepened.
Demand to increase Congress’s security
The Congress party has lodged a strong protest over the statement of the BJP spokesperson. The party has not only considered the comment as an individual attack on Rahul Gandhi, but has also termed a serious fatal threat. In protest against the comment, on Monday, Congress’s student unit NSUI Vice President Aryan Mishra gave a complaint at Hazratganj Kotwali in Lucknow. He has demanded a legal action against BJP spokesperson Pintu Mahadev in Tahrir and to register an FIR. In view of this threat, the Congress student leader has demanded to increase Rahul Gandhi’s security.
Congress said that democracy threatens
Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai and other senior Congress leaders have raised strong objection to the serious matter. He has demanded legal action against Pintu Mahadev. Congress leaders clearly stated that threatening to kill the political opponent, takes the level of political debate to the lowest position.
