On the crowd gathered in Vijay's rallies, Kamal Haasan said- 'The entire crowd will not turn into the vote'

Kamal Haasan, the founder of Makkal Nidhi Nidhi Mayyam (MNM), has said that if a leader throngs the public meeting, it does not mean that the entire crowd will turn into a vote and this rule applies to both of them and victory. Actor -turned -politician Vijay is the head of the debutant Tamilga Vatri Kazhagam (TVK).

When asked about the criticism of a huge crowd in the rallies of TV head Vijay and not changing the vote of “the entire crowd”, Haasan told the reporters, “This is sure, (not all) it will not change in votes, it applies to all leaders.”

When he was again asked whether this rule applies to TV’s head victory, he said, “When it applies to all the leaders, how can we exclude Vijay?” This applies to me and all the leaders of India, you draw the crowd, but it (all) will not turn into the vote. ”

Asked what advice he would give to Vijay, who has entered politics, he said, “Go on the right path, go ahead with courage and do good to the people and this is my appeal to all the leaders.” He said in a conversation with reporters on September 21, 2025 that he is criticized in cinema and many people criticize the ambitious actors.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and other parties had criticized that the huge crowd in Vijay’s rallies would not change the votes. After this, Vijay, while addressing a rally in Thiruvarur on September 20, said dramatically that he (opponents) doubt and then asked people, “He (rival and critic) says that it is a hollow crowd (will not vote for TVK), is it a hollow crowd?”

When the huge crowd present there raised high slogans of “Vijay… Vijay…”, it was seen as an oath to vote for TVK and the TV chief thanked the people wholeheartedly. Vijay said that TVK aims to “establish a true democracy, which has truth.”
