Raipur, October 26 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised the cleanliness and innovation efforts of Chhattisgarh in the 127th episode of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. In his address, PM Modi mentioned the unique initiative ‘Garbage Café’ of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation and those who contributed in bomb detection in Naxal affected areas.
Expressing gratitude on this, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that PM Modi has mentioned the contribution of Chhattisgarh many times in ‘Mann Ki Baat’, which inspires the state.
While talking to the media, CM Vishnu Dev Sai said that we all listened to the 127th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’. We are very grateful to him, because he has mentioned the contribution of Chhattisgarh in many episodes and today he did it again. Ambikapur Municipal Corporation has been number-1 in the country in terms of cleanliness, which the PM mentioned. Also mentioned the role of those who contributed in detecting bombs hidden in the ground by Naxalites in the fight against Naxalism in Chhattisgarh.

PM Modi said that I have received many messages from across the country on cleanliness efforts. I would like to share some inspirational stories. A unique initiative to collect plastic waste has been started in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh.
People can collect plastic waste and get food at the ‘Garbage Café’ run by Ambikapur Municipal Corporation. If a person brings one kilo of plastic waste, he gets lunch or dinner, and breakfast in exchange for half a kilo of plastic.
