New Delhi, June 9 (IANS). Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has described the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure and 2 years of taking oath for the third time as a historic chapter.

Rajnath Singh wrote on Twitter, “On this day in 2024, Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time and wrote a new chapter in the history of India. In the last 12 years, PM Modi’s visionary leadership has given a new definition to governance with the spirit of ‘service’ and has ensured that development reaches every section of the society. “

The Defense Minister further wrote, “Inspired by the principle of ‘Service Before Self’, this journey of ’12 Years of Seva’ has included empowerment of the poor, strengthened national security, transformational reforms, rapid infrastructure development and digital innovation. As India moves towards ‘Developed India 2047’, these 12 years stand as a testament to visionary leadership, inclusive growth and an unwavering commitment to ‘Nation-First’ governance.”

Delhi’s Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa wrote on Twitter, “These 12 years of successful leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are 12 years of India’s historic journey of transformation, progress and public welfare. This journey is not just the story of the tenure of one government, but a glorious chapter of converting the collective resolve of 140 crore Indians into accomplishment. As ‘Pradhansevak’, Prime Minister Modi has transformed the country by making Antyodaya, service, good governance and poor welfare the core spirit of governance. Has taken it to new heights.”

Sirsa further said, “From public wealth to public trust, from expansion of basic facilities to the creation of self-reliant India, in these 12 years, India has created a new history of development, trust and public welfare. We have always been inspired by ‘Antyodaya’ and our endeavor has been to ensure that the benefits of development reach those who were left behind for decades.
